## FAQ

什么是每齿进给量？

每齿进给量是每转每刃切下的材料厚度。太小刀具打滑发热；太大刀具或主轴过载。刀具厂商会公布各材料的推荐范围。

切削速度从哪里来？

切削速度（m/min 的 Vc，或英寸制的 SFM）取决于刀具涂层和材料：起点参考——硬质合金铣铝约 100 m/min，低碳钢约 50，木材和塑料用雕刻刀 200 以上。以刀具数据表为准再调整。

要严格按算出的转速跑吗？

圆整到机床最接近的档位，然后听切削声。公式给出的是数学上的正确起点；刚性、冷却和装夹会把实际最优点移开。

切削速度和进给速度有什么区别？

切削速度（Vc）是刀刃掠过材料表面的速度，以米/分钟计——由主轴转速（RPM）和刀具直径决定。进给速度（feed rate）是整把刀具切进工件的速度，以 mm/min 计。两者相关联却彼此独立：10 mm 刀具在 100 m/min 下约需 3,180 RPM，进给速度则等于该 RPM x 每齿进给量 x 刃数。两者属于同一个计算——这正是本工具所做的事。
