# 如何计算板尺（以及原木检尺规则）

木材就是按板尺买卖的。公式一分钟就能学会；检尺规则和计价陷阱要多花点时间。

## 什么是板尺

板尺（BF）是体积单位：一块 12 英寸宽、12 英寸长、1 英寸厚的木料——144 立方英寸。形状无所谓；任何一堆木材都可以换算成板尺。北美木材按板尺计价，所以一切估算都从这里开始。

## 公式

板尺 = 厚(in) × 宽(in) × 长(ft) ÷ 12——若长度用英寸，则 ÷ 144。一根 2×6、8 英尺长的木料按名义尺寸计为 2 × 6 × 8 ÷ 12 = 8 板尺。硬木通常按实测（真实）宽度和厚度出售，而规格软木按名义尺寸交易——弄清你的供应商用哪种惯例。

## 原木检尺：Doyle、Scribner、International

整根原木用检尺规则估算可出木材。Doyle（(d−4)² × L ÷ 16）严重低估小径级原木——卖方喜欢它，买方不喜欢。International 1/4 英寸最宽松也最一致；Scribner 居中。同一根原木仅因换规则就可能“缩水”30%，所以装车之前先把规则谈定。

## 毛料与刨光料：体积在哪里消失

毛料（rough-sawn）在刨光和干燥之前计量。刨光（S4S）料的厚度和宽度已经缩水——“1 英寸”板刨光后只剩 3/4 英寸。自己买毛料自己刨光，就要预算刨削损失；买刨光料，就按实际得到的板尺付钱，而不是名义数量。
